Love for Sendai

Gordon's heart is heavy today with news that Sendai, Japan suffered an 8.9 quake.  He served there on his mission and loves the people and places there.  All Japanese missions are reporting missionaries safe; however, all communications are down in Sendai and a count of the missionaries is not possible there right now.  Our hearts and prayers to everyone involved.

This really is SAD. I think your wording of Gordon's "heart being heavy" really says a lot. We've been praying for everyone affected by this terrible tragedy. It's heart-breaking.

I had forgotten that Gordon served right there. What a tragedy to have happen to people you know.

So sad. I read that the count is aleady up to 10,000 dead or missing. Unreal, isn't it? So tragic. We pray that families will be reunited and that everyone will get the help they need soon.
