In spite of the gopher-diggin' night life going on, this rose bush and many of my sunflowers are thriving. Every year I plant sunflowers and every year I am disappointed when they only bloom facing East. What is the deal with that? Every sunflower in my backyard faces away.But they are still beautiful and cheerful:)
