Today was the "Idaho Showcase Invitational" at Mountain View High School. Sweet Liberty performed each one of their dances better than I have seen all year.The results? We won every division we were in, qualified for State, and took "Best Overall"!
It was a fantastic day.
At the conclusion, "We are the champions" was playing on the sound system and the girls were holding up their trophies and singing the song.
It was one of those moments that makes your eyes tear up, you are so happy to see such hard work pay off.
Not that winning is everything, but it sure feels nice sometimes.
